Our Doctors
Dr Hardeep Bhakhri, DVM– Director & Owner of ELCDr. Bhakhri graduated from Punjab Agricultural University, India in 1997. He finished his clinical rotations at University of Tuskegee in Alabama. His fields of expertise are small animal surgery and internal medicine. He also takes good care of rodents and pocket pets. He consults with specialists when required. Dr. Bhakhri was licensed in California in 2000 and worked in different clinics in the Bay Area for 4 years. He also worked in an emergency clinic in New York for 2 years. He has been working at ELC Veterinary Clinic since August 2006. Dr. Bhakhri is capable of handling any type of emergency or critical cases. In addition to his busy schedule at the clinic, he likes to hike and travel and spend time with his family and his pet dog, Rey.
Dr. Fahimeh Zibaee, DVMDr. Zibaee was born and raised in Iran and has worked in the veterinary field since 2009 after graduating from vet school. Dr. Zibaee received her California state license in 2018 and since then working as a small animal practitioner. Dr. Zibaee is passionate about soft tissue surgeries, neurology, and internal medicine. In free time she enjoys hiking, biking, watching movies and cooking. She has two cats named Jasper and Emmett.

Dr. Payvand Parvizi, DVM-Dr. Parvizi received his DVM in 1998. He has worked both as a veterinary practitioner as well as a researcher ever since. Dr. Parvizi finds soft tissue and orthopedic surgeries fascinating. He particularly likes to help patients with autoimmune, skin, renal and endocrine disorders.
Our Staff
Jacob, Hospital Manager
He joined us in June of 2011. Jacob has 7 years of experience in the field of veterinary. He enjoys working with pets very much and believes he found what he would like to do for a long time. Apart from working with pets at ELC, he has two dogs of his own, Flash and Titan.
Noe, Vet Assistant
Noe became the part of our family in June of 2009 and is our resident cat lady. She ran a large boarding facility in an animal hospital in Fremont, and also worked as a tech at a clinic in Redwood City. Noe enjoys spending time with her family, immersing herself in a good book and caring for her own cats.
Roxanne, RVT
Roxanne joined the ELC crew in 2012, at first as a volunteer twice a week then to a full time employee a year later. She enjoyed working with Dr. Bhakhri and Dr. Zibaee , the staff and of course the pets so much, she went to Foothill College to continue her education in the veterinary field. Graduated and received her veterinary technician license in 2015 and is still learning new things about career every day.
Patrizia, Vet Assistant
Patrizia joined the ELC team in December of 2021 as a volunteer and became a full-time veterinary assistant in May of 2022 after graduating from California State University, East Bay with a B.S. in Biology. She hopes to further pursue her education to become a DVM. In her spare time, she loves going on food adventures, shopping, and spending time with her dogs and cats.
Isabella, Vet Assistant
Isabella joined the ELC team in August 2019, and currently works as a veterinary assistant. She recently graduated from California Polytechnic State University SLO with a BS in Animal Science and concentration in pre-veterinary medicine, and has an interest in further pursuing a career in the veterinary field. Her primary interest would be to continue small animal practice, although she would also like to work with wildlife animals. She has two Australian Shepherd dogs that she enjoys taking to the beach and on hikes, and in her spare time she also enjoys traveling!
Casandra, Vet Assistant
Casandra started off as a dog groomer in 2019 and discovered a new found passion with animals.She wanted to do more, so she joined the ELC Veterinary Clinic in mid 2020 and currently she is enrolled in the Vet Tech program at PennFoster. In her spare time she loves reading and watching movies. Most of all, Casandra is super excited to be a part of the ELC team and helping animals and their families.
Soondree, Vet Assistant
Soondree joined the ELC team in July of 2022 as a veterinary assistant. She is a current senior at Santa Clara University majoring in Biology and Public Health. She is hoping to attend Veterinary School in her future. She has a Brittany Spaniel and two cats back home in Missouri that she adores.
Alexandria, Receptionist
Alexandria joined our ELC team in September 2021. She has previous experience as a receptionist but now gets to fulfill her passion of working with animals. In her free time, she enjoys shopping, spending time with her family and most importantly, spoiling her fur baby Stella Marie.
Val, Vet Assistant
Val started her career as a medical student, and got her CNA and LVN license through medical career college, but decided her heart and passion were into animals. She started working at a veterinary clinic as a receptionist for a year and joined the ELC family in January of 2022 as a veterinary assistant. Val is very motivated to learn more about the veterinary field, and in her free time she likes to help her neighbors with cleaning or errands, or spend time with her dog Coco.
